I work with people of all genders and sexualities (including those identifying as asexual) who know there's something holding them back from having the relationship/s they truly desire.

My personal exploration of freedom from gender socialisation and healing chronic pain informs my approach to supporting my clients in connecting to patterns imprinted on them by others, and lovingly alchemising them. This allows my clients to show up as a freer, more authentic version of themselves, unencumbered by shoulds and musts.

I offer 1-1s and group work such as consent workshops and sharing circles at festivals. Read on to learn more about how I could support you.

I’m trauma-informed, and hold space for people of all genders and sexualities to slow down, connect to themselves and find healing in discovering their unique stories held in their bodies.

1:1 Offerings

Rather than stand alone separate offerings, I provide various ways to work with me. In our first call, we’ll discuss your needs and which specific offerings could best support you. It could end up being a bit of a mix and match of a few different offerings, rather than selecting just one. You may like to see the following selection as a menu.

Some of my offerings are available both online and in-person and some are available in person only.

This work is for you if…

You have a desire to connect to the wisdom in your body on a greater level

You have tried other healing modalities and/or talking therapies, and can’t help but feel there's something missing.

You don’t identify with heteronormative ideas of PIV sex, and wish to explore erotic possibilities as a trans or nonbinary person, or as someone on the asexual spectrum.

You want to step off the relationship escalator and into ethical non monogamy in one of its many forms, but don’t know how.

Your outward appearance suggests that you are highly confident in the realms of sex but secretly you’re a complete beginner. You struggle with the first steps towards navigating intimacy, and are afraid that you’ll get it all wrong.

You’re intelligent and insightful. You’ve done a lot of personal development work, yet can still see your attachment wounds playing out in your relationships, and wish to examine them in a neutral space with no pressure or judgement.

You fawn or people please, putting others needs before your own in order to keep yourself safe from harm. You may have difficulty knowing what your own needs are. You have found yourself engaging in sexual activities because you weren’t able to say no.

You are committed to making changes in your life to get the results you desire.

Festivals / workshops

Alongside my 1-1 work I also run consent workshops and sharing circles at festivals and events. I love to travel and connect with people in different locations.

My recent workshops have included:

✱ The Power of an Authentic No.

✱ Reparation after rupture (without the need for the wrongdoer to be present).

✱ A workshop for Fawners and People Pleasers.

I gave a version of this talk as a starting point for discussing Asexuality and genital dysphoria, you can watch it here:

Alongside my Sexological Bodywork I am also a Wild Voice™ facilitator, and run writing sessions where I guide folk in dropping into their bodies and writing from that place within. Sharing our wild voice with others can lead to a place of beautiful acceptance.

Do get in touch if you’d like to see me at your festival or event.

FAQs

  • Every session is unique, co-created together. You bring an intention for each session. I will offer some suggestions of how we might work together, and you get to choose if this feels like the right approach for you, or if something else might be a better fit. Similarly, if what you suggest is not something that I am willing to do, I will let you know.

  • Great question! And, there’s no concise answer.

We have a range of tools, from talk based tools of sex coaching and passing on sexology information. There’s also somatic embodiment work, connecting to the breath and movement in the body in various ways, noticing and really feeling what’s going on inside. We also get to explore touch and desires; working with embodied consent and boundaries, noticing how these show up in your body. And active receiving, where we get to connect to your pleasure through the power of one way touch, knowing that everything we are doing is for your learning.

You guide the way in this journey, we decide together where we go in each session. And, if I feel that what you’ve requested isn’t serving your deeper learning, I’ll let you know.

  • This work is not therapy, but it can be therapeutic. It is advisable to have support in place to help you process what comes up for you outside this container of working together, in the event that unexpected memories or trauma residues emerge. Support from those who are experienced in working with trauma are advised.

Somatic bodywork is not a substitute for therapy and should not be used as a replacement for medical treatment and care. If you experience mental health issues please consult a professional healthcare practitioner to advise if this work is appropriate for you.

  • You’ll receive guidance on this when we work together. But some ideas are that aftercare may look like taking time for yourself with a bath, journalling, or a walk in nature. You may prefer to carry out some mindful activities to allow space for deeper awarenesses from the session to find you.

Creating art, music or movement; allowing the learning to bubble up from your somatic experience while you carry out slow and gentle tasks. It may look like carrying out your normal tasks, but with slowness and more awareness to the sensations in your body. You may wish to seek out nourishing tastes, sights or smells.

Listen to the needs of your body.

  • This work is not about being done to. It’s about you taking charge of your body and what happens to it. It’s about being curious. What becomes possible when you are heard and responded to.

  • London. If you're unable to travel to London, perhaps I can come to you. I love to travel, if you'd like me to come to you then we can discuss how to organise this between us.

Testimonials

  • “Total permission to accept the truth and all the edges and all the wrinkles and all the wrongs of who the full version of me is. And this ability to be very gracious with new hard truths. Total Inner Freedom.”

    Kate Wolf

  • “Kirstine’s beautiful, embodied self took us out of our heads and into our bodies, playfully and gently nudging us down towards our deep inner knowing; so we could meet our wild voices and write the wisdom. Kirstine helped us ease us into an accepting, sharing session and gave beautiful feedback that left me feeling truly empowered.”

    Carol

  • “I received a couple of sessions from Kirstine earlier this year, which really helped me with the topics of gender expression, finding a way to better relate to my monthly cycle as a non-binary person, and reconnecting to a felt sense of safety in my body. I really appreciated Kirstine’s wisdom and creativity, which made the sessions feel unique to me.”
